A Framework for Change & Human Centred Design

Organisational barriers delaying the adoption of behavioural science vary from context to context but will usually involved one or more of the following issues: the need may not have been identified, insufficient access to expertise, inadequate training opportunities, limitations in project autonomy, lack of clarity on how BC links to different tools, institutional resistance to social sciences,  resource and financial constraints, social, economic and political complexities, and ethical concerns.

The 5 D's process is a lightweight guided approach that contains key aspects of change management, insights research and analysis, problem solving, behaviour science, codesign and continuous improvement. 

The frameowrk provides facilitative, enabling support and guidance to users that increased competency, confidence and effectiveness in the practical, real-world application of behavioural change science.
